Fish ginger is one of our favourite dish for dinner. One single dish is enough for us because there are fish and vegetable together without to cook any other side dishes. Fresh ginger bring out a special flavour and we love to eat a lot of ginger specially when it cooked with fish.
I've made this fish ginger with leeks many times and I found that the combination of the fish and leeks was really good. In fact, fish, ginger and leeks are perfect combo created such a great dish.
STIR FRIED FISH FILLET WITH GINGER AND LEEKS
Ingredients;
250g fish fillet, any fish
1 tablespoon corn flour
1 leek, clean and thinly sliced
1 cloves garlic, chopped
4cm fresh ginger, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon corn flour, dissolved with 4 tablespoon water
Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD;
- Season the fish fillet with salt and pepper, dust lightly with 1 tablespoon corn flour.
- Heat up some oil in a wok or saucepan and fried fish fillet until golden brown and slightly crispy. Set aside.
- Heat up little oil in a saucepan and fry garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add leeks and fry for a minute. Add more water if needed.
- Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper and the corn flour paste, cook for a few seconds.
- Add in fried fish fillet and quickly stir fry in high heat and dish up.
